By using Shishyastra, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language so you actually know what you're agreeing to.
1. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to register. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
2. Buying on Shishyastra
Products are sold by independent vendors who set their own prices, stock, and shipping. Shishyastra facilitates payment, delivery, and disputes.
3. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the platform — no fraud, no fake reviews, no reselling counterfeits, no harassment of vendors or other shoppers.
4. Pricing & payment
All prices are in NPR (रु.) inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is processed when you confirm checkout. For COD, payment is on delivery.
5. Returns & refunds
Most items are eligible for 7-day return. See our Returns policy for category-specific rules and the step-by-step return process.
6. Intellectual property
All content on Shishyastra — design, code, marketing copy — belongs to Shishyastra Pvt. Ltd. Product images and descriptions belong to the respective vendors.
7. Limitation of liability
Shishyastra is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Maximum liability for any claim is the amount you paid for the disputed order.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or applicable Nepali law. You may close your account anytime from /account/profile.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Kathmandu.
