The origin story
Anita and Bishal started Shishyastra in 2024 after years of watching talented Nepali makers struggle to reach customers beyond their own neighbourhood. Marketplaces existed, but they took 25%+ commissions and forced small sellers to compete with global drop-shippers.
We built Shishyastra differently: local-first, verified-first, fair-first.Every store goes through KYC. Commissions stay at 10%. Payouts go out every Friday.
